CHALLENGES
The challenges we faced were that the site was a live and active working environment as well as a tourist attraction for the general public.
This work needed to be top-quality and presented as cleanly and neatly as possible considering the high-level environment. Works were often completed at night outside of trading hours.
OUTCOME AND IMPACT
Ultimately, this project was a success and we achieved our objectives of keeping people safe at the same time as providing a high-quality, presentable hoarding fit for Parliament House.
TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATIONS
We had to keep the work spaces separate from the public but also contain the dust and noise at the same time as presenting a clean and tidy wall that blended in with the surroundings.
To do so, we had to go outside the normal parameters and come up with some creative ways to close off these areas without it looking like a construction site of any kind from all angles.
