CHALLENGES

The challenges we faced were that the site was a live and active working environment. It was a large area that needed to be hoarded up in stages along site scaffolding and demolition crews.

This work needed to be top-quality and presented as cleanly and neatly as possible considering the high-level environment. Works were completed at night outside of trading hours.

OUTCOME AND IMPACT

The project was a success and we managed to juggle a lot of moving parts and ever-changing schedules to get the work done in time.

TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATIONS

We were faced with challenges where the hoarding had to meet scaffolding in tight places with little or no room for support. We worked together with the scaffold team and the project managers to come up with innovative ways to get the works done and presentable as well as structurally sound.

We also needed to work around balustrades and columns but maintain space for the works to be completed, so this too was challenging to ensure the hoarding was safe and secure.
